We believe that everyone has the right to a good quality of life regardless of their circumstances. A good quality of life has many aspects including good mental health, freedom from financial hardship and a sense of being part of something worthwhile.
We support all Barnet residents to have a better quality of life by providing a free Help With Money benefit advice and welfare service, Finchley Community Toy Library and, exclusively for women lone parents, our V.I.P@blpc social group.
Finchley Community Toy Library is a small and friendly toddler stay and play for ages 0-5. Children can take home high quality educational toys for as little as 50p an item for two weeks hire. All our books are free to borrow. We have a community 'take home' table filled with useful but free toiletries, books and toys.
We are set in a lovely spacious hall with heated flooring and a garden for the children to run around in. Every week we have a fun activity to keep the little ones entertained followed by story time and singing. And there's tea and coffee for the adults.
We are open term time on Tuesday mornings between 9.30 and 11.15 so come down and join us.
We always look forward to welcoming new families.
