It's time to say goodbye.
Our charity, like many others, has been impacted by the cost-of-living problem; fundraising has become more challenging as funders close, or delay or reduce the amount of money they give out.
We cannot see any prospect, in the short or long term, of being able to fundraise the amount we need to continue to run our services, so sadly we have taken the decision to close.
It was not an easy decision to make and has been personally painful for our trustees, volunteers and staff.
Finchley Community Toy Library and VIP@blpc have already closed. Those of you who are using our Help with Money service will be contacted in due course.
We have truly enjoyed being a part of your life for so many years and are proud of the work we have done for the community.
💖 We will miss you 💖
Finchley Community Toy Library is a small and friendly toddler stay and play for ages 0-5. Children can take home high quality educational toys for as little as 50p an item for two weeks hire. All our books are free to borrow. We have a community 'take home' table filled with useful but free toiletries, books and toys.
We are set in a lovely spacious hall with heated flooring and a garden for the children to run around in. Every week we have a fun activity to keep the little ones entertained followed by story time and singing. And there's tea and coffee for the adults.
We are open term time on Tuesday mornings between 9.30 and 11.15 so come down and join us.
We always look forward to welcoming new families.
